J. Daniel Robinson has been actively involved in extending opportunities for study of pharmacy across the state of Florida via new programs to help meet the growing demand for qualified pharmacists. For this and other innovative leadership in teaching and research, he was among the recipients of a merit award from the American Pharmacists Association for 2003.
