Announcing a Study Abroad Psychology Course in France, July 2012

Students who have an interest in culturally diverse expressions of religion and spirituality and psychological growth are invited to apply for this unique opportunity to study in France. We will explore ancient sacred sites and experience ecumenical Christianity and Buddhist Mindfulness practices.

Highlights include walking the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, a symbol for spiritual pilgrimage and personal transformation, living in two intentional monastic communities for week-long immersion experiences--the Christian Ecumenical Community of Taize and the Buddhist community of Plum Village, touring historic and sacred sites in southwest France Dordogne region famous for the Caves at Lascaux, and immersing in the cultural richness of Paris. All classes and experiential learning will be conducted in English; students may earn 3-4 University of Florida psychology credits; non-UF students are welcome.


Costs: Undergraduate Program fee: $5,268 and Graduate Program fee: $6,248 (round-trip airfare is not included)
